Our client, a pan-European company selling into multiple countries, approached us as they were struggling to keep up with regulatory cost disclosure reporting and documentation production demands. They were gathering information from hundreds of custodians and investment managers, meaning they had to manually process large volumes of data from a wide variety of sources. Some of the data needed to be combined with other data sets before being manipulated and circulated to clients. It was an extremely complex task involving millions of rows of data, and reports and documents often needed to be generated at different levels in multiple languages. The manual nature of the work meant it was very time-consuming and costly, and the company was keen to eliminate the risk of keying error associated with data entry.
Resolve built an end-to-end calculation and reporting engine fully customised to the client’s existing systems, automating the ingestion, manipulation and dissemination of data. Instead of manual processing, IntegraLynx now pulls data from various external and internal sources before normalising, manipulating, enhancing and then distributing it in a way that is digestible by the receiver. Reports are generated through multi-tier hierarchies where necessary, and the outputs are company branded. Operational risk is reduced, and high-value employees no longer spend hours on manual, repetitive tasks.
The company is now able to generate reports automatically, and the data integrity has increased. They have since expanded their use of IntegraLynx and are using the platform for centralised data management.
