Rethinking MMIF Reporting Through AI

We brought thirty-five senior people from the funds industry together and gave them a hard regulatory problem, plus just a few hours to solve it. One firm in the room said they had spent 1.5 years building something similar.

By the end of the night, the group had built an end-to-end MMIF reporting module in a single evening. It consumed data across multiple file formats, validated that data, and produced CBI templates, using only publicly available CBI guidance and AI tools.

To be clear, what was built last night would not be ready for production use in regulatory submissions tomorrow. That was never the point. The real value was giving the senior leaders in the room a clear sense of what is now possible, and how that should reshape their thinking on AI strategy.
